Delete your Lusk account

You can delete your Lusk account and its data at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open Lusk and sign in.
2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
3. Type DELETE to confirm. Your account is deleted immediately.

Without the app

Send an email to dansuske@gmail.com from the email address of your Lusk account with the subject "Delete my Lusk account". If you signed in with Apple and hid your email, tell us the name shown on your profile instead. We will confirm and delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What is deleted

• Your profile: name, email, photo, bio and links, and your sign-in.
• Your recipes, your private copies of imported recipes, collections, meal plans, shopping lists, pantry and food preferences.
• Your reviews, review photos, comments, feed posts, follows and blocks.
• Your household and family memberships (a household you alone own is deleted).

What is kept, and for how long

• Shared records of recipes imported from a link that other users have saved, rated or reviewed stay available to them, with every link to your account removed; they contain no personal data about you. Those nobody else uses are deleted.
• The record of which links you imported recipes from, with your email address: 3 years, in case of a legal claim about imported content.
• Crash reports, which do not contain your content: up to 90 days.
• Reports and moderation records concerning your content: up to 12 months after the case is closed.
• Purchase records held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat, as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Subscriptions: deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. See our Privacy Policy for details.
