Pro tips
Less obvious features and tricks
Things most people only find after a few weeks.
In a recipe
- Rescale servings: Tap the serving count at the top and type a new one. Every ingredient amount is recalculated instantly.
- Tick things off: Tap an ingredient or a step to strike it through without opening cooking mode — handy for a quick check.
- Rating and review: At the bottom of a recipe, give it stars and optionally write a few lines. Unlike a private note, a rating is public and helps everyone else.
- Something off versus the original? On an imported original you can report a wrong time or serving count — the fix reaches everyone who imported the same recipe.
Discover and community
- Follow a cook by tapping their name on any recipe — their new recipes appear in your feed.
- Saw something good in the feed? Tap the bookmark and it is in your cookbook.
- Search by keyword, cuisine or dietary label.
Collections and profile
- A collection marked public shows on your profile — good for themed menus to share with friends.
- Tap anyone's avatar to open their public cookbook.
